2.5x
By far the most common magnification. Whether you’re new to loupes or have used them for years, this is likely the best choice: the widest field of view and the greatest depth.

3. Epic LED lights
Add a light while you build your loupes, or buy one on its own for loupes you already have.
Epic LED Light
Many are surprised to learn the illumination is just as beneficial as the magnification. Lightweight, adjustable up to 45,000 lux, up to 43 hours between charges, rugged anodized aluminum housing. Mounts to existing loupes with the included universal clip, charges from any USB power supply, and includes a UV filter so it won’t prematurely cure composite.
